A STICKY BEAK INSIDE MY HOME

WELCOME TO MY HOME!!!

I realised that those of you who are not following me on Instagram may not have seen many photos of my home.  So, here it is! We were lucky enough to build a new home and moved in just over 3 years ago.  I must say, I am still in love with it and feel extremely lucky.  What I love most is that I feel it’s a real expression of who I am and of my design personality.  When you chose things that you love (they don’t need to be the most expensive) it creates a certain warmth.  Hope you enjoy.xxx

I love a HUGE door and wide corridors!

We needed to let more light into this room and after looking at the plans for hours and hours I came up with this solution.

I also love my LOOM rug which really is a piece of art.

This is our formal lounge and dining.  The table fits 16 when needed – which is pretty often!

My hanging bottles – using fishing wire.

myhome7

The most used room in the house – the open plan kitchen/living.  I’m a major Mark Tuckey fan.

The ensuite.  I could never use white marble in the kitchen (scared of staining) but this marble is perfect for our bathroom.

Kids bathroom – lucky kids!!!!

  1. I adore your home and it’s such an inspiration to me for my future home – a perfect mix of good quality and meaningful pieces. I totally feel the warmth whenever I walk in that door! My favourite is the bright pink paint splotchy artwork on the wall in the hallway. Love that you’re sharing your own home too and pointing out details, like that Loom rug, its divine!!!

  2. Looks fantastic. I bet lots of people ask u to help with their rooms/houses. Thought of doing it professionally??
